|FOLDING PUNT 14|
|A 14 ft. x 4 ft. 1 in. beam punt that takes apart to store in a 7 ft. length or make a box trailer. Very simple to build and easy to assemble. This punt-shaped boat is built in two parts, which are joined at the center with bolts. Both parts are watertight and will float independently. The forward part will invert on to the aft part and together they may be mounted on a trailer chasis to form a box trailer, suitable for trailing camping and other gear. The boat is suitable for inland rivers and canals. It is not suitable for sea use. With its shallow draft it may be used for wildfowling and similar activities amongst marshes. It can be rowed or driven with an outboard motor up to 3 H.P. Plans include full-size drawings of frames and some other parts with our usual full instructions and other drawings.
Plywood requirements - 5 sheets 1/4" (6mm) x 4' x 8' and .5 sheet 1/2" (12mm) x 4' x 8'.
