RASCAL 19 - #219
The Rascal will take you back to earlier times. It is quite inexpensive and very simple for the amateur builder to construct. It is a hard chine plywood craft with bench seats set fore and aft of the engine compartment and single seats either side. It has a true planing hull of its era with a very shallow "V" bottom and powered with an inboard engine. The plans are well detailed and show construction and engineering details, lines and frame construction, complete with full-size patterns.
