Here's the answer to your dinghy storage problems as well as providing you with a handsome, versatile little craft anyone would be proud to own.
"STACK & STOW" can be amateur built, either in two halves for portability and easy stowage in confined spaces, or, as a conventional knockabout dinghy/ yacht tender. The two halves plus seat are simply bolted together and assembled in a matter of minutes ready for the water. In stowable form, she should be light enough to be carried by an agile adult and fit into the rear of the average sport utility or station wagon. The nested dimensions are 5' long, 3'-9" wide and 2' high. Construction is plywood silicon bronze fastened and epoxy glued for greatest strength and durability. The keelson has twin skegs offering efficient directional stability and allowing her to stand upright when parked on the land. "STACK & STOW" may be rowed seating up to four, or three comfortably. Alternatively, she can be sculled by one person. Outboards 1-1/2 to 3 hp might be used. A very large set of plans, comprehensive with full size patterns.
