|COASTAL CRUISER 25 - #H 32|
|WIDE BODY AND TRAILERABLE!
While charmingly traditional in appearance, this widebody trailerable design lists many advanced features including easy, inexpensive (but husky) construction ideal for the amateur boatbuilder. You can cruise at 12 knots with only about 45 shaft horsepower twice the speed of comparable sailboats and a third faster than less advanced designs of this size and type. Power options are all stern mounted for easy service and simplicity. Plans detail outboard, I/0, or inboard with veedrive, all located below a spacious raised aft deck.
Accommodations and amenities are much like a larger vessel. There's a private double cabin forward with head, lavatory, and hanging locker. The pilothouse seats two, has sliding doors port and starboard, and plenty of room for charts and electronics. A unique feature is the separate enclosed shower with seat, while the galley can be fully self contained. The roomy L shaped settee converts to a double berth. Both the pilothouse and main cabin feature full standing headroom (5'7" in the forward cabin with hatch closed).
