VERSATILE AND SEAGOING

This 25 foot, hard chine powerboat comes as either a work vessel or cruiser in which the cockpit has been reduced to make room for an enclosed saloon.

The hull is extremely easy to build, being plated with 3 mm steel over steel frames and bulkheads. A long skeg/keel runs right aft. Power requirements are for diesel engines from 20 to 47 horsepower. The theoretical hull speed of this displacement vessel is 6.5 knots. Two bunks are set forward. Full standing headroom makes this a very comfortable cabin. The wheelhouse is raised to give good all round vision. There is a galley to port and a big hold aft. The engine is forward of this and plans show a 47 H.P. diesel.

The plans contain detail of welded joints, engineering and steering, and table of offsets. The plans are for Australian Uniform Code Rules of Survey for fishing vessels.
